HOW TO APPLY FOR LATE REGISTRATION OF MARRIAGES
Description: This service caters to applicants for delayed filing and registration of marriages.

Location: Office of the City Civil Registrar (OCCR), Cebu City
Availability: Monday-Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration of the Service: 10 days & 35 minutes
a) Accomplished Certificate of Marriage (COM) in four copies, original signatures affixed;
b) Certificate of No Record issued by Civil Registrar – 1 orig. & 2 photocopies
c) Negative Certification issued by National Statistics Office;
d) A copy of the Marriage Contract obtained by the couple from the marriage ceremony with License or Affidavit of Art. 34 – 1 orig. & 2 photocopies;
e) Affidavit executed by the Church/Solemnizing Officer attesting to the existence of the marriage ceremony and the reason for the delayed registration OR Affidavit executed by the couple attesting to the marriage and the reason for the late submission – 1 orig. & 2 photocopies

Procedure in Availing the Service:

|2. Pay fees at Window 3.||Issues Official Receipt (OR).||CTO personnel||10 min.|
|3. Submit O.R. to Marriage Registration Section.||3.1. Logs OR.
3.2. Issues return slip.
