HOW TO INQUIRE OR COMPLAIN ABOUT TOWED MOTOR VEHICLES
Description: This service enables Motor vehicle owner/s to inquire or complain in relation to their cited violation under City ordinance 801 otherwise known as the Traffic Code of Cebu City as amended and its allied ordinances.
Client/s: All Owners / Drivers of Motor Vehicles
Contact Person/s: Any staff of the Legal Office
Location: Legal Office, CITOM Ground Floor
Availability: Monday-Saturday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Duration of the Service: 1 hour
Requirement/s: Present Certificate of Registration (C.R.) with Official Receipt (O.R.) of owner and present their I.D. for evaluation.
Fee/s: Pay penalties and towing charge if the apprehension is valid or the violation is consummated.
Procedure in Availing the Service:
|1. Ask for a request slip from the Special Task Action Force (STAF).||Asks what the problem/complaint is all about||10 min.|
|2. Present request slip to the Legal Office (Ground Floor, CITOM Bldg.)||10 min.|
|3. Fill-up complaint form and have it notarized.||Ask for the request slip and checks the initial violation stated from the request slip|
|4. Proceed to the office of Atty. Carlo Vincent Gimena at the 3rd floor of the CITOM Bldg. for the hearing schedule.||Listens to the complaint allegations||30 min.|
|5. Explain the violation stated in request slip if violation is valid and the procedure is within due process. The penalties and towing charged will be imposed because violation is consummated.||Resorts to other options if not satisfied with the explanation given|
|6. Proceed to the Cashier for necessary payments.||10 min.|
