I too used to be an athlete way back my College life in Velez as basketball player, now I became a Mayor. PRISAA is a venue to develop sportsmanship, I hope you will enjoy your stay in Cebu City," thus said Cebu City Mayor Michael Lopez Rama during a Fellowship Dinner with PRISAA (Private Schools Athletic Association) National Collegiate Games 2012 delegates last April 26, 2012, 6pm at the Fort San Pedro.
Thousands of coaches, athletes and officials from 16 regions throughout the Philippines spent dinner with Cebu City government officials at the heritage site. The whole are of the Fort including the upper portion was utilized to accommodate the delegates. Moreover, they were entertained by the Knapsack Dancers and the award-winning Cebu City Dance-sports Team.
Mayor Rama also entertained the audience as he serenades the Mutya ng PRISAA winners such as Ms. Vanessa Jay Sagmit (MS. PRISAA 2011); Ms. Amadea Lucia T. Piatti (Ms. PRISAA 2012) and Ms. Claudine Canlas (Ms. PRISAA 2012 1st Runner-up).
The delegates was once again wowed with the hospitality of the Cebuanos and how elegant the city government will host an event, the first was during the grand opening of the annual event at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
