Eight barangays are now enjoying the benefits of having a computer sets after their request for a computerized system were granted by Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama.

The computer sets worth P45, 000 worth of computer sets were distributed to the beneficiaries August 14, 2012.

Desktops with printer including pre-installed operating system; mouse and other computer parts were handed to Barangay Pung-ol Sibugay, Babag, Sudlon 1, Bonbon, Tisa, Tagbao, Sawang Kalero and Barangay Buot-Taup.

Councilor Lino Bantilaw of Barangay Pit-os said that he is very thankful for Mayor Rama for granting their request and added that this will really help them a lot in making their job more convenient.

Mayor Rama for his part said that serving his constituents has been made easier with the help of the barangay officials that is why he will continue to assist them in any way he can under his administration.

“I am not a Mayor forever. But forever I will treasure knowing all of you” Mayor Rama said.
