In continuing to upgrade its services to indigent patients in the city, the Cebu City Medical Center will be putting up a Burn Unit that will meet the needs of burn patients and their families by October 2012.
According to CCMC Hospital Chief Dr. Gloria Duterte they have expanded the services of the hospital to cater to the growing demands of patient care especially since they have been receiving patients with injuries caused by fire.
Aside from opening the Burn Unit, CCMC has also started upgrading their services thru making the transactions and other office activities within the hospital computerized.
Dr. Duterte said that their hospital aims to provide quality and appropriate health services with an optimum medical, surgical, pediatrics, ophthalmologic, and dental health services to cases of admitted and outpatient clients.
One of CCMC’s major activities is its implementation of free meals to admitted patients backed with dietary counseling. This has become a very big help to the patients who need the right and good nutrition to get better.
They have also made a Personnel Movement with its goal of maintaining a pool of consultants to guide the resident physicians in their training program.
As of now, they have newly installed fire distinguishers, new echo/ultrasound machine, updated Directional signs and their newly improved back garden.
