hello Lienyvette,

If the property is located within Cebu City, we can assist you on that. However, if it is located in Cebu Province, we don't have the access of the property.

If in Cebu city, you can deposit the tax due amount through our depository bank. Please email me if you need more assistance.

thank you.

hello dyani,

We have a list of the delinquent real property owners at our Land Tax Division. In a year, we usually publish the same at our local newspaper in compliance with the public auction of the properties, in the event that the owners, failed to pay the corresponding taxes (including penalties).

As for the Province, you can also ask said information for the Provincial Treasurer's Office.

thanks.

I have a lot in Cebu City and would like to pay it's annual tax. Since we have transferred to Lapu-lapu, I would like to ask if there is a way where I can pay directly through any of your depository bank without having to go to the Cebu City Hall. Will you be able to email taxes due, then print it and pay to the bank? Is there any alternative options?

Many thanks....

hi yomie,

Presently, our system is not web-based ready, however, you can email me the properties preferably the tax declaration no., the owner and the location, please include both the lot and building.

Then we can prepare the real property tax bill and send it to you either via fax or scanned to your email address.

Should anything you need assistance, do send me message at my email add.

Thanks.

To dyani,
we have a list of delinquent real property tax owners at our Realty Tax Division. However, every year we publish the same in our local newspaper in preparation for the conduct of public auction (as required by law). Property owners who failed to settle their taxes (including penalties and costs), the Office of the Treasurer will include their properties in a public auction.
As for the Province, you can ask the same from the Office of the Provincial Treasurer.

To Yomie,
You can send me message to my email address, the registered owner and location of the property, either land or building, much better if the tax declaration number then we will prepare a real property tax bill. We can then send it you via fax or scanned at your email address.

Thanks to all and we will be happy to serve you...

Hi. Do I need to secure a Mayor's Permit for my Apartment Rental Business in Cebu City? Someone from BIR told me that it shouldn't be necessary (for tax purposes) as long as monthly rents don't go over 10,000 pesos since they have a ruling on that ( for rents not over 10,000 pesos). I'm confused with conflicting information I get and I just need some clarification.

Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Thanks!

Hello Kim,

If you are into real estate leasing, you need to secure business permit as real estate lessor as provided for under our city tax code. BIR and LGU-Cebu city are two different entities and have different imposition based on their mandates.

I suggest, you should secure/apply Mayors Business Permit at our Office.

Thanks.
Ms. Emma
