System Name: Street Lights Management System

System Description:

Street Lights Management System was developed to assist the Department of Public Services (DPS) in recording and managing its records of street lights and posts in all the 81 city barangays.



Data from regular surveys of the composite field team made up of DPS staff, VECO, Department of Engineering and Public Works (DEPW) and the GIS Center of the Management Information and Computer Services (MICS) Department are fed into the system to determine the wattage consumption of electric lights installed in city streets and city properties. Records from the database is queried to process requests for new posts, new lamps, new lights by different barangays and aids in the procurement planning of the DPS.
