The First Placer in the recent Architecture Licensure Examination is a proud product of the 24/7 Cebu City Public Library.
Architect Justin Lei Ramos from the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) scored 83.80 percent from the recent examination held last January 25 to 27.
Ramos proudly revealed that the Cebu City Public Library was a big factor in reaching the top spot for the examination.
While reviewing for the exams, Ramos spent time at the library for five (5) months from 10:00 in the morning and would stay until 8:00 in the evening.
The topnotcher said that studying in the 24/7 Cebu City Public Library helped her focus more on her review.
She thanked Cebu City Mayor Tommy Osmeña for providing facilities that could help the youth in achieving their goals.

The Cebu City Government donated a 1.5 hectare lot which will be constructed with new buildings to house the Court of Appeals, Regional Trial Courts, Municipal Trial Courts and a training facility for the judges at the South Road Property (SRP).
During the signing of the Deed of Donation held recently, Supreme Court (SC) Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin thanked the Cebu City Government headed by Mayor Tommy Osmeña, for the continuing support to the Supreme Court.
The first ever Judicial Complex will be constructed immediately as soon as processing for the transfer of the lot title to the Supreme Court will be completed.
SC Administrator Jose Midas Marquez said that they have already allocated 1 Billion pesos; however, since the property is bigger now, more funds have to be augmented in order to fully complete the said project.
SC officials together with Cebu City Officials headed by Mayor Osmeña, Hon. Margot Osmeña, Hon. Mary Ann delos Santos, Alvin Arcilla, Hon. Sisinio Andales, Hon. Eugenio Gabuya, Jr. and Hon. Jessica Resch also attended the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing. (Farlash Acenas & Tito Basilisco/PIO)
