- Cebu City Mayor Michael L. Rama yesterday warned traffic enforcers to do their jobs properly of face dismissal after seeing one of them doing nothing against drivers committing traffic violations nearby.
- Rama personally caught City Traffic Operations Management (CITOM) enforcer Rolando Servida (Sun.star wrote it as "Sorvida") doing nothing against some drivers of passenger jeepneys who parked their vehicles at a "No Stopping" zone along P. Burgos St. near city hall yesterday morning.
- Rama later told reporters that he wants traffic personnel like these dismissed from their jobs so as not to waste government funds.
