CEBU CITY, Philippines - Thousands of Cebu City Government employees can now access their employment records sans going to the Human Resource Development Office (HRDO) and with just a few clicks away.
This as the Cebu City Government led by Mayor Tommy Osmeña through its Management Information and Computer Services (MICS) Department officially added features with the Personnel Information Transparency In City Hall (PITCH) portal application.
PITCH Portal is a web application that enables city hall employees who are in the active service to make online inquiry and view specific information about their own personnel records using the internet or their smartphones anytime anywhere.
With its official launching in the last quarter in 2016, available features were only the Electronic Daily Time Recording System using Biometrics (eDTR), the Centralized Payroll Preparation System (CPPS), and the Leave Records Information System (LRIS).
As a jumpstart, the portal provides three information such as the number of leave balance that employees have on their leave records, the details of employees monthly payslip, and employees daily attendance records.
This month, MICS in-house developers added the features where employees can now view their premium contributions to the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS), Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) or more popularly known as the Pag-IBIG Fund, and Withholding Tax remittances.
Active employees from the 22 departments of the city government here can simply visit the Cebu City Government official website - www.cebucity.gov.ph and log in with their account username and password. Those who do not have their accounts yet may visit the MICS Department and look for Mr. Erex Cabalquinto and Mr. Hector John Escolano.
The portal was a brainchild of the in-house developers of MICS Department headed by MICS chief William Cris V. Artajo. It accesses the live data of the three information system that are integrated into the Human Resource Information System being implemented by the city's HRDO.
The MICS Department is also eyeing to develop system for the public to transact online to the Cebu City Government with the aim to provide better services, easy access, convenience and enhance e-governance. (By: Greggy P. Senados/ City of Cebu, Public Information Office)
